Job: Treasurer

The Softball Ulster Treasurer is responsible for collecting player registration fees, paying for new equipment and renting grounds for SU events. The Treasurer will publish the SU accounts at the annual AGM every November.

The key responsibilities of the Softball Ulster Treasurer include:

  • Work directly with the Chairperson and SU Council to develop the sport of softball in Ulster.
  • Keep accurate records and detailed accounts of all SU transactions.
  • Agree registration fees for SU members, to incorporate SI fees.
  • Ensure bank accounts are in place, accessible and that appropriate signatories are assigned.
  • Invoice all clubs for fees at least three weeks prior to payment deadlines.
  • Provide receipts to all clubs for fees.
  • Maintain a working relationship with the SI Treasurer.
  • Liaise with the Secretary to ensure all new registrations, transfers and fines are agreed and invoiced.
  • Liaise with the Competitions Officer to manage the budget for all SU competitions, including the purchase of new equipment.
  • Assist the Vice Chair and Competitions Officer at SU tournaments.
