  1. I was talking to Linzi last week and I am interested in playing again this year either on a local team or at least in tournaments in Belfast and Ireland. She said that I have to be registered with Softball Ulster. Is this true?

    1. Reggie, you do need to be registered with either Softball Ulster or Softball Ireland in order to play in league games. You can pay a “one-off” tournament fee if you only want to play in a tournament, but if you intend to play in several tournaments you would be better off registering as it would be cheaper. All players need to be registered for insurance purposes. Under normal circumstances, if you are playing for a team, your team will register your details with Softball Ulster/Ireland on your behalf and your team fees contribute towards the membership fee.
